Continuing his scholarly pursuits, he attained a Master's in Physiology and a Medical Degree from the University of Florida, culminating in a General Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery was refined through a Fellowship completed in 2005 at the University of Florida.

    His professional trajectory is illustrious. From 2005 to 2020, he served at the Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, Georgia, showcasing unwavering dedication and surgical prowess. He is an integral part of the HCA/West Florida Hospital team. He commands profound respect within his field because he is renowned for his adeptness in valve replacement/repair, aortic aneurysm repair, and aortic dissection repair. He consistently ranks among the top 100 cardiovascular surgeons and garners accolades on physician rating platforms like Health Grades. The Golden Scalpel Recipient in 2003, he holds dual Board Certifications in Thoracic and General Surgery.
